Welcome to the web site of the Financial Services Accountants Association (FSAA).
The FSAA is the peak industry body for those involved in the financial services industry, particularly professionals from the fields of accounting, finance, regulation and taxation.
The FSAA services the needs of over 700 professionals in Australasia.
This site has been created as a resource for Members and as a service to help foster an understanding of the types of issues impacting on accounting professionals in the financial services industry. The Association conducts many events and training programmes. We invite you to browse the web site, and feel free to contact us if you require any additional information.

FSAA Youth Scholarship
The FSAA Federal Committee is pleased to announce the winners of the FSAA 2011 Youth Scholarship Program.
There was a terrific response to this initiative and the quality of applications was extremely high. After much deliberation, it was decided that the number of places offered be increased, as such, FSAA now has two ambassadors in Sydney and one in Melbourne.
Congratulations go to
- Alexander Lord, Deloitte (Melbourne)
- Justin Chen, QBE (Sydney)
- Rebecca Wilkins, Suncorp (Sydney)
These three individuals have secured a scholarship worth up to $5,000 each, to include books, pre-approved fees for relevant financial services training, the cost of attending the FSAA National Conference and the cost of attending FSAA Professional Development programs.

Following the successful launch of the Life Intermediate course in March 2011, the next date for this program will be 28-29 November 2011. Registration is now open.
